1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CipherPass (the "Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

CipherPass is a Chrome browser extension that generates passwords using deterministic algorithms. The Extension:

• Generates passwords locally on your device using SHA-256 hashing
• Does not store or transmit your master key or generated passwords
• Requires a master key and identifier to generate passwords
• Is provided free of charge

3. User Responsibilities

Master Key Security

You are solely responsible for:

• Choosing a strong, unique master key
• Keeping your master key confidential and secure
• Not sharing your master key with others
• Understanding that lost master keys cannot be recovered

Proper Usage

You agree to:

• Use the Extension only for legitimate purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the Extension
• Not use the Extension for any illegal activities
• Verify generated passwords meet website requirements

4. No Warranties

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Warranties regarding the security of generated passwords
• Warranties that the Extension will meet your requirements

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUSKARTECH AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data or passwords
• Unauthorized access to accounts
• Business interruption
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Any security breaches on third-party websites

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Muskartech from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Extension
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of third parties
• Any illegal or unauthorized use of the Extension

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we handle your data. By using the Extension, you acknowledge that:

• No personal data is collected or stored by the Extension
• All password generation occurs locally on your device
• Your master key never leaves your device

8. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including its design, code, algorithms, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Muskartech. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension for personal purposes only.

9. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate this agreement by uninstalling the Extension. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.

10. Updates and Modifications

Extension Updates

We may update the Extension to improve functionality, fix bugs, or enhance security. Updates may be installed automatically through Chrome Web Store.

Terms Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Third-Party Services

The Extension may interact with third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for:

• The security practices of third-party websites
• Changes to third-party password requirements
• Data breaches on third-party services
• Compatibility issues with other extensions

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Extension shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Turkish courts.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
